About Sumadhura Foundation

Sumadhura Foundation is a value-based, goal and action oriented socially driven organization with its sole focus on bringing purpose and equality for everyone. We come from humble beginnings and understand the value of opportunity which we know can transform lives. We are life-long learners who value skills, education and are motivated to bring such opportunities for the underprivileged.

We believe that in our country, if good health and education for the underprivileged are provided and then creating opportunities can transform the landscape of India. Most people are able to help themselves, when they have good health, education and safe environment. We also believe that the previous generations have enjoyed a closer bond with nature and have had lesser opportunities but perhaps healthier food, air and clean water. We believe that while developing all along we need to carefully use nature’s resources and preserve and protect nature for our children and future generations. We also believe that urban cultures need to inculcate respect for resources and also maintain the social infrastructure and collectively work on keeping our cities clean and beautiful.

With this pursuit, we started our journey working on education, health and environment. Although these are early days in our journey, however, we have supported five educational institutions in and around Whitefield in Bangalore, where renovations, repairs and reconstructions of infrastructure was taken up. We have installed a ‘Waste to Energy’ plant that processes waste from fifteen of Sumadhura communities to produce electricity demonstrating how waste should not be sent to landfills. Sumadhura has conducted health camps and blood donation camps. We have also been contributing to disaster mitigation funds in times of emergency that we think is essential for any organization to bring normalcy to the disrupted lives.

Sumadhura Foundation is a Public Charitable Trust registered in Hyderabad in 2018. ‘Joy of Sharing’ is our inspiring mascot which is the motivation behind all the Foundation work.

Our Trustees

Mr. Madhusudan G

Founder Trustee

Mr Madhusudhan has entrepreneurial energy to support any initiative that he takes up, which reflects in Sumadhura Infracon’s steady progress. Mr. Madhusudhan is passionate about inclusive prosperity and hence wants to assure that the Foundation work has to be driven with a sense of purpose for bringing inter and intra generational equity for all. He reaches out to help the poor and keen on seeing a world where no one remains poor. He believes in providing basic opportunities for the underprivileged to create a level playing field for everyone.

Mrs. G Swapna

Trustee

Mrs. Swapna is keen on seeing her future generations having the same access to resources as she has seen growing up amidst relatively close to nature. She believes that initiatives such as reducing plastic, treating waste appropriately and also growing more and more trees if taken up by one and all can create a lot of desired change in our society.

Mr. K V Rama Rao

Trustee

Mr. Rama Rao is a staunch advocate of the value of providing skills and how that can change the society for good. Mr. Rama Rao believes in helping in a manner that people can help themselves. He also has lot of regards for the armed forces and the supreme sacrifices that our soldiers make to serve the nation and hopes to offer upskilling opportunities so that they can fulfill their full potential post retirement. This he believes will also encourage young people to join forces in the first place.

Mr. K Bharat Kumar

Trustee

Keen advocate of ‘quality and equality of education’, Mr. Bharat has spearheaded several initiatives on infrastructural improvements for the underprivileged schools and colleges around Whitefield area. Once he takes up an infrastructural improvement, he delivers the best quality work for charity. He believes his efforts get rewarded when he feels children are fed and learning in a safe environment.

Mr. G Naveen Kumar

Trustee

Naveen’s belief in good health, hygiene and sanitation is the driver behind the cleanliness drives that Foundation has taken up in the past and will be taking up in the future. Whether it is children provided with vaccinations or organizing blood donation camps, Naveen takes up any responsibility with joy and grace.

Mr. G Subba Rao

Trustee

Mr Subba Rao has keen interest in reaching out to the underprivileged in times of crisis. It is his belief that bringing life to normal for everyone in times of need provides great satisfaction to him personally.

Rewards and Recognition

Sumadhura Infracon Pvt Ltd., was awarded with the 2019 –  ET NOW Realty Award for best CSR initiative by a realtor. 

The CSR initiative for which we received the award was the waste to energy project which shows exceptional commitment towards managing urban waste in a manner that inspires collective action for environmental problems.

Mr.Bharat, Mr.Giridhar & Ms.Jeevana from the Sumadhura Management team were present at the award ceremony to receive the award.
